    Quote from a parent:
"I really appreciate what the director and all the teachers at New Star Montessori, including Ms. Jasmine and Ms. Xu, have done for my daughter. With their hard work and endless love, she has learned a lot and grown up so happily, which is one of the most important things a parent could ask for.
When my daughter just started in New Star, she was almost three. She was still wearing diapers and being potty trained. She never wrote and did not know how to write. She was speaking Chinese and only knew a few simple English words. She was a very shy girl as well. One year later, she is almost 4 year old. She speaks English fluently, and she talks a lot (in both English and Chinese). She even speaks a lot Spanish words. She writes her own name very well, and also half of the 26 letters. She draws, paints, and cuts very well. She loves puzzling and reading, and can stay very quietly doing either puzzles or reading books when other kids are shouting in the same room. She gets along with other kids very well, and makes new friends at her age after a while. Most important, she tells me she is happy everyday when she goes to school.
I have noticed all these changes and I would like to credit New Star for most her changes and growing."

    Quote from a parent:
"I like that the teachers here dress more nicely than those in some other schools. I guess the look and feel of the environment also help the kids behave more like little gentlemen and ladies. Their reading program is very good. Last semester I pulled my kid out of the kindergarten of a public school because I felt my kid was not challenged enough. In the beginning I was questioning myself if I did something wrong because my kid didn't want to leave his old school. After attending this school for just a few months, he already can read and write well. Now I am very sure that I did the right thing."
