  • 20 Under 20 Fellowship

    Thiel Foundation offers 20 Under 20 Fellowship to young people who are entrepreneurs in mind an opportunity to pursue innovative scientific and technical projects, learn entrepreneurship, and begin to build the technology companies of tomorrow. During their two-year tenure, each Fellow will receive $100,000 as well as mentorship from the Foundation’s network of tech entrepreneurs and innovators. The project areas for this class of fellows include biotech, career development, economics and finance, education, energy, information technology, mobility, robotics, and space.   • Davidson Young Fellows Scholarships. The Davidson Fellows Scholarship awards $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 scholarships to extraordinary young people under the age of 18 who have completed a significant piece of work. Application categories are Mathematics, Science, Literature, Music, Technology, Philosophy and Outside the Box. Davidson Fellows are honored every year in Washington, D.C. with Congressional meetings and a special reception.

  • Wal-Mart Scholarships

    Wal-Mart offers four different kinds of scholarships:
    • The Walmart Associate Scholarship (Formerly Higher Reach Scholarship): A college scholarship is available to Walmart and Sam’s Club associates who are based in the U.S..
    • The Sam Walton Community Scholarship: A $3,000 college scholarship available to graduating seniors with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and a demonstrated financial need.
    • The Walmart Dependent Scholarship (Formerly Walmart Associate Scholarship): A $3,000 college scholarship available to Walmart and Sam's Club dependents of associates who are graduating seniors with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and a demonstrated financial need.
    • Walton Family Foundation Scholarship (Administered by the Walmart Foundation): Administered by the Walmart Foundation, the Walton Family Foundation Scholarship is a $13,000 scholarship paid out over four years. Applications must be dependents of Walmart and Sam's Club associates, have at least a 22 ACT or 1030 SAT (Critical Reading + Math) score and prove financial need.

    • The First Scholarships. Available to high-school students participating on FRC and FTC teams (Lego Challenge teams).
      Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to $143,000.

    • College Chess Scholarships. Depending on the school that offers it, the amount can range from $1000 to full tuition plus stipend, room and board.
