  • Davidson Young Fellows Scholarships. The Davidson Fellows Scholarship awards $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 scholarships to extraordinary young people under the age of 18 who have completed a significant piece of work. Application categories are Mathematics, Science, Literature, Music, Technology, Philosophy and Outside the Box. Davidson Fellows are honored every year in Washington, D.C. with Congressional meetings and a special reception.

  • Wal-Mart College Scholarships. For the application of the Fall scholarship next year, check out here in November.

  • The First Scholarships. Available to high-school students participating on FRC and FTC teams (Lego Challenge teams).
    Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to $143,000.

  • College Chess Scholarships. Depending on the school that offers it, the amount can range from $1000 to full tuition plus stipend, room and board.
